FIRST CHAIRWOMAN | MANAGEMENT & FUNDRAISING

Jana Derbas

Jana is the Co-Founder of Female Fellows e.V. and therefore the first chairwoman of the organization. Her tasks are especially leading the main team and empower everyone in the team to strengthen their skills. Her motto is: >> You need to have chaos inside of you to be able to bear a dancing star.<< and with this thought in mind she always tries to bring the team forward together.

SECOND CHAIRWOMAN | FINANCES

Marilen Rauch

Marilen is also the co-founder and second chairwoman of Female Fellows e.V. Primarily she cares for finances of the organization and other tasks which are able to be fulfilled from Sweden. When she isn’t working on an excel sheet matching numbers, she is busy with getting new ideas for her ceramic studies which she is studying in Sweden dealing with everything that includes pottery.

Dr. Masooma Torfa

Masooma Torfa is co-founder and senior member of Female Fellows. The international and European cooperation in Migration and Integration is an integral focus of the organization’s work Masooma is leading. In addition she is part of the local integration management team.

Berenike Mack

Nike is a Tandem-Matcher in Stuttgart und creative head. The illustrations of Female Fellows were created by her.Her structured way and openness for chaos are the things that make her special.

PR & Social Media

Carolin Milli-Stern

Caro supports the team when it comes to public relations and Social Media. With her excellent sense for the different channels and target groups she is doing a great work which she also is able to express in her profession as a freelance Social Media Manager.

Phyllis Jallow

We gladly introduce our new member Phyllis. At events she is the woman behind the camera. In taking pictures for us, she is not only reinventing the word camerawoman , but is also writing the stories for them. With her affinity for creative things she is managing the social media content and is not only creating the posts there but is also answering your direct messages on these platforms.

Data Scientist

Theresa Kocher

As a Data Scientist Theresa is turning the activities of Female Fellows into numbers and diagrams. Thereby she is helping the team to visualize the success of their work and make it transparent for supporters.

INTERNATIONAL ADVOCATE

Razia Arooje

Razia Arooje is a PhD student at the University of Duisburg-Essen and is primarily working on und beschäftigt sich schwerpunktmäßig mit der regime legitimacy in fragile states. She represents Female Fellows as an international Advocate for conferences and meetings within the European Union. Furthermore she helps us with Social Media activities and the online representation of the organization.

Project Assistant in Bietighiem

Nagham Abdul Sattar

Nagham is now working as Female Fellows Project Assistant in Bietighiem. She came to Germany two years ago and since the first months, she recognised the problems and sufferings of refugee women, as she was previously helping refugees in her country. Now she is a refugee and thinks that Female Fellows bring the solution to many of the refugee women problems.

Nagham is now working as Female Fellows Project Assistant in Bietigheim. Julia Büker

Julia is part of the integration management team in Stuttgart, which mainly takes care of the tandem matching process. She is also available as a contact person for the tandems and organizes events. Intercultural exchange and greater acceptance between cultures are particularly important to her.

Nour Othman

Nour supports the Tübingen team on social media. She translates new messages into Arabic, Kurdish, English or German. She is also your contact person on WhatsApp, where she will be happy to answer all your questions. She gives Arabic lessons and, with a lot of creativity, likes to organize events and excursions for everyone.
